Important …. Use a protein supplement daily!!

Over the past couple of weeks i have been off my diet enjoying the summer with countless cookouts and barbecues. With only a few weeks left of pool season i figured it would be a great time to get back into the swing of things and to start feeding my body what its been missing and that’s some good old protein.

The use of protein can be a little tricky at first. How much do i need? What kind of food should i eat? What about all of those protein shakes and mrp’s i see people drinking? First things first, most athletes need around 1-2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. So if you are 200 ibs that’s 200-400 grams of protein a day! i know what you guys are thinking, how in the world can i get that all in during a 24 hr period? The first thing i do is talk my guys at i-Supplements and have them pick me either some whey protein or whey isolate protein. Whey protein is a great addition to any diet regardless of your goals.
