Are you taking care of your skin?

Apr 26, 2008

I learned at an early age that was very important to take care of my skin. Ever since I was 16, I have used skin care products. As a man, I am not ashamed of it either. While most people I graduated school with look their age or 10 years older, I still look like I am in my twenties (I’m 35). It has been a very nice payoff.

As a weekly visitor to the local tanning salon, I have also tanned at least once a week since I was 18. Besides a week or two break here and there, it has been a ritual. Due to the skin care products I have used over the years, I can honestly say, I do not have one wrinkle.

Here are some of my favorite skin care and anti-aging products:

Hempz Age Defying Herbal Moisturizer by Supre is awesome! I use this as an full body moisturizer. It feels great on and it is not greasy. It also has a very subtle smell, unlike some products I have used in the past. I do not want a flowery fragrance on me.

Revexin Wrinkle & Fine Line Remover is a fantastic facial lotion. It is high in antioxidants and is formulated to get rid of fine lines and unwanted wrinkles on the face. It also has Hyaluronic Acid which is a natural protein found in the skin, which over time, you lose. It has unmatched hydrating properties.

Weleda Shaving Lotion is a must have substitute for shaving cream or foam. Personally, I hate shaving creams. They do not seem to protect my face while shaving and definetely do not moisturize my face. Shaving Lotion moisturizes while also lubricates unlike any cream I have ever used. I never have a breakout after shaving with a lotion.

None of this is rocket science, but while we all are building our bodies in the gym every day and spending hundreds of dollars on supplements to build the muscle underneath the skin , then why wouldn’t you spend a little extra to take care of what is on the outside?
