Keep the $ Out of SPF

May 21, 2008

Temps are rising, necklines are plunging and it’s not as dreary, rainy or snowy as it was just a few weeks ago – it’s summer, and that means beaches. That’s great news for sun worshippers, but bad news for their wallets. I know my wife spends a ton of money each year on trendy, high-pricetag tanning products to maintain her bronzed look, but if you’re not willing to part with that level of bank to get dark, you can find discount tanning lotions that are just as good.

Me? I opt for the highest SPF lotion I can find. My Irish complexion means that I start to get a sunburn as soon as I leave the house on a hot day. I usually use (don’t laugh) children’s sunscreens because they tend to have a higher SPF. Right now, I have a bottle of kids’ SPF 46 made by Jason Naturals. I wore it while working in the yard last weekend and was burn-free – an exciting development.

i-Supplements features dozens of discount tanning lotions – check them out before you get burned.
